Er gr\u00fcndet auf der Vedanta Philosophie und hat zum Ziel, das h\u00f6chste Selbst im eigenen Inneren sowie in allen Wesen zu erkennen. Dieser philosophische Ansatz beschreibt die Welt als Illusion (<em>Maya<\/em>) und strebt danach, die Schleier dieser Illusion durch zwei wesentliche F\u00e4higkeiten zu l\u00fcften: <em>Viveka<\/em>, die Unterscheidungskraft, und <em>Vairagya<\/em>, die Verhaftungslosigkeit.<\/p><p>Jnana Yoga gilt allgemein als der anspruchsvollste der vier Yoga-Wege. Sie l\u00f6st Verhaftung und Faszination, sodass der Geist ruhig, kraftvoll und auf die innere Nachforschung ausgerichtet bleibt. Vairagya unterst\u00fctzt den Prozess der Losl\u00f6sung und der Nicht-Identifikation, auf dem die vedantische Meditation beruht.
